| High Performance Features |
The library and mini-gym buildings are being constructed for the school as well as for use by the local community. These buildings are estimated to be 31.2% more efficient than the Title-24 reference standard and incorporate natural daylighting through skylights combined with daylight sensors to used to control dimming of electric lighting. The building materials have been carefully specified based on recycled content and indoor air quality. Designers have incorporated efficient landscape irrigation systems including the use of reclaimed water in combination with low-flow and waterless fixtures on the building interior to reduce potable water use on-site.
