The Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) is leading a national movement to improve student performance and the entire educational experience by building the best possible schools.
It's that exciting time of year as students head Back to School.
However, as nearly 55 million students head back to school - many will return to schools that are unhealthy, restrict their ability to learn, and require unsustainable resources to maintain.
Learn how you can help.
The new US-CHPS Criteria™ is a companion to and based on the CHPS National Core Criteria (Core Criteria). US-CHPS is a version of the CHPS Criteria rating system that can be used in every state and the District of Columbia. New states may adopt US-CHPS for K-12 schools as is, or may add code requirements and/or additional relevant resources without an intensive development process or additional public review.
