The CHPS Criteria

The CHPS Criteria (formerly Volume 3 of the CHPS Best Practices Manual) is a benchmarking system that defines the attributes of a high performance school. The Criteria address site and materials selection, energy and water efficiency, indoor environmental quality, innovation, performance, and integrated delivery, and provide high performance school strategies that can be used by schools and districts and their design teams for new campuses, buildings and major modernizations.
