Join us for an Introduction to the Texas CHPS Criteria!

This past spring, CHPS debuted the Texas CHPS Criteria (TX-CHPS), a new high performance assessment tool created especially for Texas schools. TX-CHPS can help schools achieve increased energy efficiency and utilities savings, heightened student performance, and improved student, staff and faculty health. Join CHPS as we provide training on how to create the schools that will provide these benefits!

Facilitated by CHPS staff and local partners, the training will provide an overview of the TX-CHPS program and resources. Participants will learn about CHPS' program offerings, the TX-CHPS prerequisites and credits, and hear from a Texas practitioner on how to implement high performance schools in Texas.

CHPS is a registered provider of continuing education through the American Institute of Architects. The course will offer AIA Learning Units in Sustainable Design (a new mandatory continuing education requirement).

Space is limited in each training session, so sign up early! Representatives from school districts and schools attend these trainings for free. CHPS members and attendees who bring a school or district representative receive discounts on the training registration. Click the date and location below that's most convenient to you.
