CHPS Trainings: Get New Solutions for Green Schools in Texas

Join the Collaborative for High Performance Schools in Texas this winter to learn more about high performance schools and CHPS in the Lone Star State. This past spring, CHPS debuted the Texas CHPS Criteria (TX-CHPS), a high performance assessment tool created especially for Texas schools. CHPS will hold four in-person training sessions in Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio this December. Learn how you can implement the CHPS program in your school or with your clients. Currently, six Texas schools have already registered for the CHPS Verified program, and four Texas schools are pursuing CHPS Designed status.

Facilitated by CHPS staff and local partners, the training will provide an overview of the TX-CHPS program and resources. Participants will learn about CHPS’ program offerings, the TX-CHPS prerequisites and credits, and hear from local practitioners on how to implement high performance schools in Texas. Attendees can earn three AIA Learning Units (HSW/SD) at these trainings.
