Get New Solutions for Green Schools in Colorado

Denver and Colorado Springs Trainings Offered Free for Schools and Districts

Are you a Colorado school or district facilities representative? Are your clients? Then you can’t afford to miss New Solutions for Green Schools in Colorado offered April 28 and 29 in Colorado Springs and Denver.

At this in-depth training, you will learn about the Colorado CHPS Criteria (CO-CHPS), a new benchmarking system designed especially for Colorado schools. CO-CHPS is the basis for participating in CHPS Verified in Colorado, a national third-party recognition program for green schools. CO-CHPS will help Colorado schools increase energy efficiency and utilities savings, heighten student performance, and improve student and staff health. Participants will learn about CO-CHPS prerequisites and credits, and best practices for implementing CHPS Verified and high performance schools in Colorado. Colorado school and district employees who attend will be entered in a drawing for a free CHPS Verified Project Registration (up to $1250 Value) [this prize may be applied to a previously registered CHPS Verified project but has no cash value].

Meet the new CHPS Operations Report Card on April 26!

Celebrate National Healthy Schools Day - Monday, April 26 - with CHPS as we release our new program for existing schools, the Operations Report Card (ORC). The ORC – a low-cost online program designed for for use both district-wide and at individual schools – helps existing schools improve their building performance by benchmarking, analyzing and recommending improvements in school indoor air quality, thermal comfort, visual comfort, acoustics, and energy efficiency. A representative from the ORC pilot program will also describe their experience with the program first-hand. The free, one-hour webinar begins at 11:30 AM PDT, 2:30 PM EDT.
