William "Bill" Orr became the leader of CHPS in July 2009, after working for the state of California for almost thirty years. For a majority of career in state government, Bill worked for the California Integrated Waste Management Board where he managed their Green Building and Environmentally Preferable Purchasing programs from 2000-2007. On the CHPS Board from 2002 to 2007, Bill was the head of the CHPS Technical Committee from its inception through 2007. During that time, he led the development of the 2006 Edition of the CHPS Criteria for California and was on the national LEED for Schools committee. Bill was inducted into the California Green Schools Hall of Fame in 2007 for his pioneering work with CHPS. Bill is a registered Engineering Geologist in California.

Tim Sisson is the Trane Educational Facilities Vertical Market Manager, responsible for the State of California. Trane is one of the largest manufactures of air conditioning equipment in North America. With over 30 years of experience in the HVAC industry and as a former California Community College Instructor, Tim focuses on Campus / Classroom applications for energy efficient air conditioning systems. In this role Tim often acts as an advisor to the education construction industry. A recent list includes the United States Green Building Council, LEED 2009 for Schools New Construction and Major Renovations--Core Committee Member; California's Coalition for Adequate School Housing High Performance School Committee, Member. May 2009 Contributing Member / Subcommittee Chairperson of the CASH Planning for Energy Efficiency Guidebook; Statewide facilitator for Pacific Gas & Electric and Southern California Edison Cool Schools third party energy efficiency programs, 2010-2012 program cycle.

Lisa Gelfand has 30 years of experience and is the managing principal of Gelfand Partners, where she has designed and supervised the design of over 40 education projects and 2,500 units of affordable housing. Lisa is on the Green Committee of the Advisory Board to California's Division of the State Architect (DSA) and the Technical Committee of the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS). She has taught and lectured at universities in New Zealand and the U.S.

Dr. Leonardo "Leo" Cedolin is a Senior Acoustical Consultant at Rosen Goldberg Der & Lewitz, Inc. (RGDL). Leo's acoustical consulting experience includes architectural and environmental acoustics and mechanical noise control. His expertise includes the acoustical design and modernization of schools, with focus on improving the acoustical environment in classrooms hosting hearing-impaired students and students whose first language is not English. He is also expert in the acoustical design of schools seeking LEED and CHPS certification. Previous to joining RGDL in 2007, Leo completed a Ph.D. dissertation on the neural representation of the pitch of harmonic sounds at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.). Leo is a LEED® Accredited Professional.
