2009 Edition of the California CHPS Criteria Now Available
The CA-CHPS Criteria, the original CHPS Criteria, is now available for public use, along with the CHPS-Designed scorecard. Download the new Criteria for use on your CA-CHPS project today! CHPS Verified documentation templates will be available for this new edition in the next month.
Texas CHPS Criteria Released for Public Use
TX-CHPS, the new high performance school building standard created especially for Texas schools, has been released for public use. The Criteria was developed by an advisory committee made up of Texas school stakeholders (see a list of the participating advisory committee members). Read the complete press release.
First Public Review for Colorado CHPS Closed
The first public review period for the Colorado CHPS Criteria (CO-CHPS) has closed. Please check back to the CHPS website for information on subsequent public review periods. CO-CHPS creates a benchmark for the design and construction of Colorado high performance school buildings that are efficient, comfortable, environmentally responsible and healthy spaces to learn.
Districts and Schools Can Now Join CHPS for Free with CHPS Registered
Schools and districts can now become members of CHPS for free by joining CHPS Registered. The program will give schools and districts free access to tools and resources for designing, constructing, modernizing and operating high performance educational facilities.
