High Performance Relocatable Stakeholder Meeting Scheduled for June 2008

CHPS will be hosting a stakeholder meeting for design professionals, relocatable manufacturers, school districts and other interested parties to provide input on CHPS' new rating program for relocatable classrooms. The event will be held in Sacramento on Wednesday, June 11 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM. CHPS will also be updating Volume VI of its Best Practices Manual on Relocatables in association with the new rating program. Both the new rating program and updated manual will provide a tool for school districts to measure the "high performance" level of relocatables they are purchasing, and will help manufacturers assess where they stand in the high performance schools market and offer tools to achieve their high performance goals. Relocatables that qualify for CHPS will provide school districts with the many benefits associated with high performance classrooms: energy and water savings, increased student performance, and improved student and teacher health. If you are interested in attending this meeting to provide comment and participate in the discussion, please contact Jon Kuzmich at jon@chps.net or 415-957-9888 to RSVP.
