By joining the community of members of the Collaborative for High Performance Schools, you will join a growing group of committed school districts, government agencies, utility companies, non-profit organizations and private companies, as well as seven other states, with a unifying goal: to improve the quality of education for our nation’s children by building the next generation of schools today.
CHPS is the nation’s first school building rating program created to facilitate the design of learning environments that are healthy, comfortable, energy efficient, resource efficient, water efficient, safe, secure, adaptable, and easy to operate and maintain. CHPS makes the connections between school districts and the organizations that serve them so that high performance schools can be a feasible, affordable goal for all school districts.
