Description: LAUSD’s modernization plan calls for the replacement of outdated portables with permanent modular buildings designed for 21st century learning. CHPS member American Modular Systems created a custom hybrid design that meets LAUSD’s districtwide specs and CHPS sustainable standards for this portables replacement project that achieved certification in June 2023.
